Checchi Receives Extension for Task Order in El Salvador |
Checchi recently received a two-year extension for the implementation of the USAID/El Salvador Justice System Improvement Program.
In addition to extending the task order to July 2012, USAID has expanded the Scope of Work to include several new initiatives. Among other new activities, Checchi will provide technical assistance with the design and implementation of a Domestic Violence Initiative and a Rape Crisis Center Model, as well as activities in community policing. The company also will continue to provide technical assistance in the implementation of a new Criminal Procedure Code, work to promote better coordination between the Attorney General’s Office and the National Civilian Police, and provide assistance to the Attorney General’s Office in reengineering its organizational structure and processes.
